Catherine comes from a long line of Richmonders, going back generations. Her Dad grew up on Church Hill and played baseball for the University of Richmond. As a teenager, her Mom modeled in the Miller & Rhodes Tea Room, accompanied by Eddie Weaver on the organ. Later, her Mom’s apartment was on Grace and her favorite place to eat lunch downtown was on the lawn of the Capitol. As a child, Catherine spent many lunchtimes at the Woolworth counter with her Grandmother. Her favorite afternoons were spent driving Monument Avenue and her bedtime reading was the Ethan Allen catalog. Richmond and Richmond homes are in her DNA. After college at JMU and many years of international travel with her work as a singer and dancer, Catherine chose to return to Richmond and began a 15 year career in advertising at The Martin Agency. She lived on Strawberry Street, right across from the Video Fan. It’s her favorite place she’s ever lived.
Catherine believes there’s something special about living in RIchmond and her joy is finding her clients their ideal Richmond home in their ideal Richmond neighborhood. Sometimes though, it’s time for them to move on to a different community or city. That’s when she puts her years of marketing/negotiation experience and her staging certification to work, helping her clients prepare their home for sale and promoting it to the right target audience. Her goal is always to sell at top dollar in the least amount of time and with the least amount of stress.

When not immersed in everything “home”, she loves urban travel adventures, drawing architecture and painting with watercolor, hanging with her “sister” friends and flatwater kayaking.
